The lace recreates Battenburg lace, a decorative technique from the late 19th century, constructed by basting woven tapes and connecting them with needlework. A short shift silhouette with straight side seams and a lightly shaped waist. Finished with crochet lace at the neckline and armholes. Includes a separate slip.
